UNDATED (KDAL) – Early voting for the election on November 3rd is underway in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Those voting in Wisconsin, now or on election day, are reminded that proper identification is needed to cast a ballot.
A drivers license or other valid ID such as a military or student ID needs to be shown at the polls.
Visit the Wisconsin Elections Commission website https://elections.wi.gov/voters/photo-id/photo-id-bring-it-ballot to see which ID cards meet the requirements.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offers I-D cards for voting purposes free of charge. Get more information on that service at wisconsindmv.gov/idcards.
